Barbecued Sage Sausages

kno0016_img.jpgChutney and boerewors are synonymous with South African entertaining and this dish is great served as a pre-dinner snack.

Serves 4 to 6 | Preparation Time: 5 mins | Cooking Time: 20 mins








Ingredients

  • 1 sachet Knorr Barbecue Sausage Cook-in-Sauce

  • 50 ml fresh sage, chopped

  • 15 ml chutney

  • 500 g cocktail sausages or boerewors

  • 300 ml boiling water

Instructions
  1. Grill cocktail sausages or boerewors until done

  2. Empty sachet contents into a measuring jug, add boiling water and stir quickly with a fork until smooth

  3. Add sage and chutney and mix well

  4. Serve as a dipping sauce for the sausages or boerewors
