Ekogaia Farm Cottages are situated in a private estate in the heart of old Noordhoek, with sea and mountain views. This three star self-catering holiday accommodation is ideally situated halfway between Cape Town and Cape Point.

There are two comfortable, self-contained holiday units, Spiral and Helix, set in a rambling private and secluded indigenous garden on an organic farm. The garden is a haven for wildlife and birds, with over 50 species identified on site, making it easy to imagine oneself in a nature reserve and not on the doorstep of a major city. Spacious Spiral cottage has sea and mountain views and wonderful indoor/ outdoor flows and sleeps 6 in comfort. There is a huge king-sized bed in the main bedroom with a special sky window above the head of the bed from which you can view the stars. There is a shared en suite bathroom with separate shower and bath, which has a telephone shower. The loft area, accessed up a beautifully crafted wooden spiral staircase, has a queen and two single beds. There are also sofas in the loft lounge. We provide top quality linen, bath and hand towels. The cottage has a safe, radio alarm clocks, a hair- dryer, a space heater in the bathroom. It also has a fully fitted kitchen with all cooking facilities and implements, crockery and cutlery and a microwave oven. The open plan, double volume kitchen and dining area is designed for sociable, holiday living. T

he paved patio is accessed through a sliding door and has a large table and braai (barbecue) facilities and wood. Helix Cottage is an airy, double volume cottage with sea and mountain views. The upstairs loft contains a queen double bed and a single bed, with traditional reed ceilings. The lounge has a sleeper couch situated beneath a window especially designed for star-gazing. Helix can sleep five people. All cooking facilities and implements, crockery and cutlery are provided. A microwave oven is available if required. There is an outside patio area, ideal for braaing or breakfast.

We provide braai wood and facilities. Helix has a fitted safe, plenty of cupboard space, as well as a radio alarm and hair-dryer. The bathroom has a shower above the bath and a space heater for chilly winter days. You will be welcomed with complimentary filter coffee, teas, rusks and a seasonal fruit bowl. There is a wash line for small laundry and swim wear. Other washing can be done very reasonably at the nearby full service laundry. Cottages are serviced weekly or by prior arrangement. We can arrange baby sitting upon request. We accept pets by arrangement.

Ekogaia Farm Cottages is a non-smoking establishment but you are free to smoke outside.

All facilites from beaches to nature reserves, kyaking, surfing, horse riding and lots more, are close by. Your hosts, as seventh generation Capetonians, can assist you to find you way around with all local knowledge at thier fingertips. Come and stay in a piece of paradise, close to the city but with a true rural vibe.
